Alto de Amatitán Plata Tequila

Alto de Amatitán Plata is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Amatitán, Jalisco, the historic lowland town in the Tequila Valley beneath the Tequila Volcano where some of Mexico's oldest distilleries still operate. Plata, or silver, is bottled unaged, so it is the purest expression of the valley's volcanic terroir.

Lowland agave gives it an earthy, peppery, mineral character, with cooked agave, citrus, and a hint of black pepper on a clean, crisp finish at 40% ABV. It is a superb sipping blanco for anyone who loves the savory side of tequila, and it makes an outstanding Margarita, Paloma, or Ranch Water. This 750 ml bottle is the entry point to a premium range built on traditional valley tequila.
